Our Programs

We provide a continuum of housing services for individuals and families, from those who are homeless or housing insecure to those who are considering homeownership. We offer services that help people throughout the housing spectrum.

Homeless to Housing

Programs to get people into safe, decent housing:

Rental Assistance: rental assistance if available to eligible clients (often earning 0 – 30% of the Area Median Income or AMI) and when funds are available.

Travelers Aid: a free service that aids people in transit who are in distress. We often serve people fleeing domestic violence, people returning from incarceration, and people exiting medical programs.

After securing stable safe housing, we encourage all of our Homeless to Housing customers to enter our Asset Building program. However, anyone can take advantage of the Asset Building program.

Asset Building

Educational and one-on-one support to gain and keep assets:

Get the Facts: this is the first step for anyone interested in buying a home but doesn't know where to start. This is a free educational and introductory class for those interested in our program before committing the Financial Empowerment program.

Financial Empowerment Program: After taking Get the Facts and paying for the Financial Empowerment program you will gain access to monthly educational workshops, opportunities to access down payment assistance, and one-on-one counseling for your homebuying journey. We meet you where you're at- whether you are lacing up your shoes or crossing the finish line.

Foreclosure Prevention: We offer free support to help you keep your home and avoid foreclosure.

Free Tax Preparation: Seasonal tax preparation and filing assistance through our VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program.
