Our History
- 1929: Incorporated as an all-volunteer "Travelers Aid Agency"
- 1950s: Shifted services to resettlement
- 1980s: Expanded to permanent rental housing
- 1995: Renamed and rebranded to Community Link
- 2000s: Expanded services outside of Mecklenburg County
- 2004: Added homeownership program & financial literacy programs
- 2005: Initiated Free Tax Preparation Services
- 2010: Provided Single Family Rehabilitation Services (ended in 2017)
- 2012: Started providing Foreclosure Services
