Our mission is to enable individuals and families to obtain and sustain safe, decent and affordable housing. 

We assist people throughout the housing spectrum- from people dealing with housing insecurity to people interested in becoming a first-time homeowner. In our most recent fiscal year, our staff:

• Housed 1,230 individuals through Homeless to Housing across 16 counties in North Carolina
• ‍Prevented foreclosure for 196 families across 21 counties in North Carolina
  
• ‍Educated and counseled 400 individuals financially through our Asset Building program

• ‍Prepared 1,625 tax returns through our Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program
  
• ‍Aided 196 people in transit under distress reach safe housing through our Travelers Aid program
